This topic has interested us for quite some time and the urge to help was immense.
We are convinced that who ever is able to, must help! Children are our future, too! We wanted to take care of those children, who can’t expect help from any side and who, without us, don’t have a chance for a good future.
But there were conditions attached:
We wanted to make sure, that our help gets to where we wanted it to. Everything donated should help the children 100%! Our help should be “help to help themselves”!
The Foundation’s statutes now determine, what the conditions are.
Friends who heard the details from us spontaneously joined in as cofounders. Others help with donations or by actively working on the projects or by fund raising.

The first project is a preschool in Lwandle, a township near Cape Town.

52 lively, intelligent and curious, cleanly dressed, but poor children are being cared for by teachers. But they are not being educated. They are hungry, because they only get one meal a day: a frugal soup for lunch.

They should be given a future.
We will feed them, so they will be able to learn. And we will teach the teachers, so they will be able to educate the children. We will gather intelligent toys and materials to support the education. And we will support their father in at least getting jobs as day-labourers and teach their mothers in arts and crafts, to make souvenirs to sell to the tourists. 

And we will tell our friends about the progress, as well as the help still needed.

And we are thankful, that we keep finding new friends willing to help these children get a future.
